Arizona Daily Star Newspaper Columns

This is one more step in my writing dreams a human interest / humorous column for a major daily newspaper. The Arizona Daily Star has three regional news sections based on zip code regions that are appropriately inserted into the regular paper each Thursday morning. The Foothills regional section serves the area in which I live.

Feeling especially confident one day, I e-mailed the Foothills section editor and volunteered to write a monthly column for free. Interested enough to respond immediately, the editor asked to see some examples of my previous work. I gave her a tour through this website, which documents my previous writing experience with a complete set of papers. By the end of the day, we had agreed to do it.
