Ring Brothers History

Latest from Bob & Al Ring

In 2008 we finished our third book, Detour to the California Gold Rush: Eugene Ring’s Travels in South America, California, and Mexico, 1848-1850 , our great grandfather's exciting memoir.

In 2009 we continued with research on our projects, writing column’s, and keeping up with family history.

We now have over 17,000 pages, 49,000 photos and 51 videos on this website. More to come.

Recent additions to the website include:

Under Ring Family History the last updates were in February 0f 2009.

Under “Al’s Projects,” more sections to Al’s high school history, Waggener High School and the St. Matthews Community have been added. Also more Sections under the History of the St. Matthews Fire Department, have been added.

Under "Bob's Projects" more Fit Center Newsletter articles were added and. Bob also added more columns for the Arizona Daily Star, Foothills Section. A new project called “The History of the Catalina Foothills and Tanque Verde Valley” has also been added.

As we get ready for 2010, we will be adding more in all categories.

Helpful hint for contacting us on our books and mining history projects: Bob does most of the writing and Al does most of the research. Tallia Cahoon has done most of the subject interviews and oral.
